About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Advanced Medical Training for the Air Force. The training involves three events in January and February 2026 at MCAS Yuma, AZ and Melrose Air Force Range near Cannon AFB, NM, requiring a contractor to provide live patient models (LPMs) for medical training scenarios. Specific requirements include 6 patient models for a tabletop training on 31 January, 4 models for military vehicle transport training on 01 February, and 2 models for point of injury care, CASEVAC, and in-flight care on 05 February.
The contractor must utilize USDA-licensed and AAALAC-accredited suppliers, maintain an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), and ensure all instructors are pararescuemen or Special Operations Combat Medic course graduates with at least six years of combat medic experience. The contractor is responsible for providing all equipment, materials, ventilators, consumables, medications, travel, meals, and lodging for instructors. The training aims to improve medical personnel's proficiency in combat casualty care and reduce mortality and morbidity from potentially survivable wounds during military operations.

STATEMENT OF WORK
Tactical Combat Casualty Care - Advanced Medical Training
Background: Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)/ Advanced Medical Training AMT for advanced medics, medical providers, and surgical teams with live patient models {LPM) is a high priority for the Air Force in support of trauma training. To mitigate loss of life and severity of injury on the modem battlefield, all medical personnel must be proficient in the concepts of TCCC and Advanced Medical Training. AMT training ensures that wounded personnel receive competent care on the battlefield to reduce mortality and morbidity from potentially survivable wounds.
Scope: Air Force requires contracted support to provide its Airmen and medical providers with the necessary advanced medical training for future deployments. Deployed forces are employed beyond the forward line of troops, making it difficult for teams to receive medical assistance during combat operations. They require advanced medical training to improve survivability and mitigate risk to mission and force during combat operations. Other TCCC training modalities (manikins, moulage, and cadavers) are complementary training aids but do not offer the advanced level of training and experience required.
Currently, AMT training is the only viable option for building the required level of training within budgetary limitations.
