About this file

This document is a Statement of Requirements for systems modular furniture for the 908th Maintenance Group at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. The requirement involves designing, delivering, and installing new modular furniture in two rooms (Room 119 and Room 119A), with a total capacity of eleven workstations. Each workstation must include specific components such as a corner work surface, rectangular work surfaces, locking pedestals, power duplex receptacles, articulating dual monitor arms, and keyboard arms. The furniture must be frame and tile style with equally proportioned tile sizes, and frames must have matching designs on both sides.

The contractor is responsible for removing existing furniture, potentially returning items to Base Supply Warehouse, and ensuring complete installation with electrical hardwiring by a licensed electrician. Detailed requirements include protecting building materials during installation, maintaining fire code compliance, providing manufacturer warranties, and following strict delivery and access protocols. The project involves comprehensive removal of old furniture, installation of new workstations, and post-installation cleanup, with specific guidelines for delivery, access to the facility, and punch list management. The requirement emphasizes new, non-refurbished equipment and careful coordination with the 908th Maintenance Group throughout the project.
