REQUIRED LOCAL COMMERCIAL SERVICE
AUTHORIZATION AT CUTOVER
1.0 Local services, required from the Contractor, are initial installation and cutover service requirements for the Government under the scope of this contract. The Contractor shall provide the following baseline of local commercial communications services for Langley AFB at cutover. The quantity of these initial service requirements will be incorporated into the Schedule B. The installation service requirement will be identified here and the Schedule B.
The base telephone switching system is a Nortel SL-1 with SD0006 software version software version. The switching system is located in Building 407, 118 Hammond Blvd, Langley AFB, VA 23665.

The contractor shall provide physically diverse paths onto Fort Eustis. Also provide, maintain and manage an OC- 192 ring to support communications requirements at Ft Eustis. The ring will be composed of four on base facilities

and at least two off base commercial facilities to provide redundancy. The network must be supported from two Central Offices.
Fort Eustis will provide and maintain the fiber-optic infrastructure to connect the on-base locations (1387 Jackson Avenue, Bldg 1387; 667 Monroe Avenue, Bldg 667; 2411A Condon Road, Bldg 2411A; 2410 Condon Road, Bldg 2410). The vendor shall provision services between the nodes and provision commercial services to be delivered to any of the base points of presence (POPs), but building 1387 and building 667 will remain as the primary POPs for the installation. (See Figure 1).
