About this file

This is a Performance Work Statement (PWS) for specialized firing range decontamination services dated July 20, 2026. The document establishes requirements for a one-time, highly specialized cleaning and decontamination project at a Firing Range facility targeting Debris Room #120 and Range 3. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the work within an estimated two-day project duration.

The scope of work includes four primary phases: Mobilization & Safety, Debris Room #120 cleaning, Range 3 cleaning, and Demobilization. For Mobilization & Safety, the contractor must provide hazardous cleanup-suitable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all onsite personnel, including half-face respirators with HEPA cartridges, and establish a negative air environment using HEPA-filtered air scrubbers running throughout the project. Debris Room #120 work involves cleaning walls (approximately 1,115 sq. ft.), pressure steam cleaning of floors (approximately 1,076 sq. ft.), and detailed HEPA vacuuming of all surfaces within the room (approximately 2,192 sq. ft.). Range 3 decontamination requires pressure steam cleaning of floors (approximately 4,992 sq. ft.) and detailed HEPA vacuuming. Demobilization requires on-site decontamination of all equipment. Waste Compliance requirements mandate use of DoT and RCRA-compliant waste containers, proper labeling and markings identifying collected waste, provision of Safety Data Sheets to the installation Hazardous Waste Program Manager for all chemicals used, and preparation of containers for transport to Building 525.
