About this file
This document outlines general requirements for a Shaw Air Force Base Protestant Music Director & Musician service contract for Fiscal Year 2026. The contract requires the service provider to supply an on-site employee to perform music direction and musician services at Shaw AFB.
Key requirements include: routine access to the military installation with ability to obtain and maintain favorable security clearances; restriction on subcontracting; compensation of the on-site employee in accordance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) wage and hour standards as administered by the Department of Labor; and establishment of a regular pay schedule with employee compensation provided no less frequently than the minimum standard required by applicable federal and state laws. The document notes this is a draft and appears to contain some inconsistent references, as the title identifies the position as Protestant Music Director & Musician while the introductory language references Catholic Religious Education Coordinator Services.
