About this file
This document is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act, issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division.
The wage determination (No. 2015-5543, Revision 28, dated 5/13/2026) applies to Washington Counties of Yakima and establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work in that geographic area. The document lists over 200 occupation classifications with corresponding hourly wage rates, including administrative support roles (Administrative Assistant at $34.08/hour, Accounting Clerk I at $20.04/hour), skilled trades (Carpenter at $31.34/hour, Electrician at $38.38/hour), healthcare positions (Registered Nurse at $29.51-$43.68/hour depending on level), and various other service occupations ranging from approximately $13.45 to $70.51 per hour. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours weekly, or $222.00 per week/$962.08 monthly) or alternatively $5.69 per hour under Executive Order 13786 ($283.60 per week/$882.27 per month). The determination applies to contracts subject to the Service Contract Act awarded on or after January 1, 2017, with additional requirements under Executive Order 13658 for contracts awarded between January 1, 2015 and January 29, 2022, establishing a minimum wage of $13.65 per hour. Special provisions address hazardous pay differentials (8% and 4%), night differential pay for air traffic controllers and weather observers, computer professional exemptions, uniform allowances, and procedures for requesting authorization of additional classifications not listed in the wage determination.
