About this file

This document contains templates for pricing proposals related to a federal furniture contract solicitation. The templates are to be used by contractors to provide pricing discounts off manufacturers' list prices for furniture products from required manufacturers including Herman Miller, Allsteel, Steelcase, and others. Pricing is structured by product type and order volume tiers. Contractors must also provide ceiling labor rates for project management, design, installation, removal and disposal services by year for the five-year contract period. The templates request pricing information to be used for evaluating offers for a Department of Commerce enterprise-wide furniture initiative contract to provide a full turnkey furniture procurement including management, design, installation and removal services for office furniture across the United States and overseas locations.

Instructions ATTACHMENT J.1: Furniture Price Proposal

INSTRUCTIONS
PROCESS: This workbook should be used by contractors to provide pricing for the DOC Furniture RFP. Contractors are asked to submit the discount offered off of each Manufacturer's List Price (MLP) and the GSA discount off of MLP for each of the manufacturers required by the Department of Commerce.

There are three tabs in this workbook:

- Instructions: This tab (current) will provide you with the instructions to fill out the Furniture Price Proposal.

- J.1 Price Proposal - Products: This tab will allow you to provide percentage discounts for the three groups of functional furniture types for each of the required manufacturers. This section is structured as a percent off MLP as a minimum base price. This discount percentage includes all applicable fees and charges except shipping. There can be additional discounts provided beyond these minimums on an order by order basis. This tab also asks for the Average GSA Discount Percent from MLP for each of the functional areas by manufacturer. The Average GSA Discount Percent from MLP must be less than or equal to the discount percent offered to DOC from MLP.

- J.2 Price Proposal - Services: This tab allows contractors to include price proposals for the services that will be a part of the contract, including Project Management, Design Services, Installation, and Removal / Disposal.

Contractors must complete all cells that are colored yellow!
