The contractor shall perform comprehensive evaluation and repair services to return all units to fully operational condition in compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications using OEM or equivalent parts.
The SOW is structured in six specific tasks: (1) Troubleshooting and Evaluation using approved OEM systems checklists and specifications manuals to identify functional discrepancies; (2) Repair Action proposals documenting discrepancy descriptions, damage limits, labor hours and costs, materials and parts costs, and total dollar amounts per discrepancy, submitted to the Contracting Officer (KO) for approval prior to any work commencing; (3) completion of only KO-approved repairs via funded written contract modifications, with no reimbursement for unauthorized work; (4) extensive operational and functional testing post-repair to verify OEM compliance and identify any new deficiencies; (5) formal documentation of inspections, testing procedures, and repair actions including all federal, state, and local compliance paperwork; and (6) confirmation that no "Above and Beyond" discrepancies exist outside the SOW scope. The contractor must furnish all materials, facilities, equipment, and tools, with repairs conducted at contractor facilities. Government acceptance by ALC Quality Assurance personnel will verify completion of funded actions through visual inspection and functional testing.
