Statement of Work Summary – Mobile Dehumidification Unit Troubleshooting and Repair

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for troubleshooting, evaluation, and repair services for four Logis-Tech, Inc. model MDU-300 Mobile Dehumidification Units (serial numbers MDU0134, MDU0144, MDU0149, and MDU0150) operated by the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center (ALC). The contractor (OEM) must perform troubleshooting and evaluation to diagnose deficiencies and propose effective repair actions to return all four units to fully operational status meeting Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications. The SOW specifies that the contractor shall furnish all inspection materials, facilities, parts, equipment, tools, and services necessary for completion. Repairs are to be performed at Air Station Clearwater unless the government approves the OEM's repair facility due to facility limitations. All repairs must comply with OEM specifications and use OEM or equivalent parts, and must adhere to applicable federal, state, and local laws including HVAC and moisture control standards.

The contract structure requires five sequential deliverables: (1) troubleshooting and evaluation documentation, (2) proposed repair actions with detailed cost breakdowns submitted to the Contracting Officer for authorization, (3) approved repair actions, (4) operational and functional testing post-repair, and (5) formal test and inspection reporting. Repair work cannot commence without a signed, funded modification authorizing specific discrepancies. Government acceptance, conducted by Air Station Clearwater Quality Assurance personnel, is required before final payment. The contractor will only be reimbursed for approved completed actions. Additionally, the contractor must conduct extensive operational testing post-repairs to identify and correct any remaining or new deficiencies, and must provide compliance documentation per federal, state, and local regulations.
