PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Naval Special Warfare Group TWO (NSWG2)
Transportation Vehicle Loading Ramp
1. BACKGROUND
1.1. Existing loading ramp is underrated for our requirements
2. OBJECTIVE
2.1. Objective of this requirement is to acquire a stronger and safer loading ramp that is portable.
3. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT
3.1. Product Name: Portable Vehicle Loading Ramp
3.2. Description and Capabilities: Portable vehicle loading ramp to assist in the loading and unloading of commercial trucks anywhere in the transportation yard without a fixed freight dock. This ramp shall have adjustable support legs in order to match the height of the vehicle to which it will be docked, and be durable enough to resist impacts of trailers backing up to it.
3.3. Specifications/Salient Characteristics: The Transportation Vehicle Loading Ramp shall:
3.3.1. Be rated for a weight of at least 30,000lbs
3.3.2. Be no longer than 38 feet in length
3.3.3. Have laminated dock bumpers to reduce trailer impact
3.3.4. Have impactable base plates that bolt to the grade
3.3.5. Have adjustable support legs that range from 36” to 56” in height
3.3.6. Have a minimum useable width of 114”
