About this file
This is a Conflict of Interest Affidavit required for participation in the Maryland Department of Information Technology's Invitation for Bid for Hive IQ licensing and support services. The affidavit serves as a compliance document for the procurement process, establishing the bidder's acknowledgment of conflict of interest regulations and certifying that the bidder has reviewed and understands the applicable conflict of interest laws and policies governing state contracts in Maryland. The document requires authorized representatives of bidding entities to attest that they have disclosed any potential conflicts and that their organization complies with state ethics requirements.
The affidavit is a standard procurement requirement that must be completed and submitted as part of the bid package to ensure transparency and regulatory compliance. By executing this document, bidders confirm their eligibility to compete for the contract and affirm that no undisclosed conflicts exist that would compromise the procurement process. This documentation protects both the state and the bidding parties by establishing a clear record of conflict of interest disclosures and certifications prior to contract award.
