About this file
This is an Attachment I 504 Compliance document related to a Dosimetry Badges procurement by the County of San Mateo for San Mateo Medical Center (SMMC), a public hospital and clinic system in California. The document outlines accessibility requirements and compliance obligations for vendors responding to this contract opportunity. The attachment establishes standards and procedures that bidders and the successful contractor must follow to ensure that all services, facilities, and communications related to the dosimetry badge service meet Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and applicable accessibility laws. These requirements apply throughout the contract term and cover areas such as physical accessibility, effective communication with individuals with disabilities, program accessibility, and non-discrimination in service delivery.
The document serves as a mandatory compliance framework that bidders must acknowledge and agree to implement as part of their proposal submission. Vendors are required to demonstrate their capacity and commitment to meeting these accessibility standards, including provisions for auxiliary aids and services, alternative communication formats, and accessible facilities or alternative service delivery methods. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in contract termination or other remedies available under applicable law. This attachment is a critical component of the procurement process and must be carefully reviewed by all potential bidders to ensure their organization can meet the County of San Mateo's accessibility obligations and legal requirements.
