About this file
This document is a Justification for Soliciting from a Single Source pursuant to FAR Part 13 for the procurement of Dataminr's First Alert Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription licenses for the U.S. Marshals Service. The requirement is for 200 licenses for the period from 9/30/2024 to 12/19/2024. Dataminr is the sole source for the proprietary First Alert software, which provides digital content search, translation, and analysis capabilities to deliver real-time breaking news alerts. The estimated total value of the requirement is provided. The justification explains that Dataminr is the only vendor capable of providing the required services, and the pricing will be determined based on comparison to previous purchases. The Contracting Officer has approved the sole source acquisition under FAR 13.106-1(b).
