About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the supply of voltage-rated Salisbury Lineman's Gloves, accessories, and re-testing services to Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL). The Seller must supply new Salisbury gloves with no substitutions on style or manufacturer, manufactured and tested in accordance with current ASTM D120 specifications. Deliveries are scheduled semi-annually on February 1 and August 1 each year, with colors rotating between black and red every six months. The TPO must provide final quantities three months prior to delivery (May and November), with at least three months' advance notice required for size and quantity specifications. The contract covers five glove classes (Class 00, 0, 1, 2, and 4) in various lengths ranging from 11 to 18 inches, sizes 7-12 including half sizes, along with leather protectors in lengths of 10", 12", 14", and 16", and canvas bags in sizes 12", 14", 16", and 18". TPO may place orders between deliveries (August through February) for additional gloves and accessories.

Quality requirements mandate that gloves be stamped with test date and batch number, with Salisbury ISO 9001 Certification and ASTM D120 compliance documentation provided to TPO. Gloves must not have been in warehouse storage longer than 90 days prior to delivery. If new Salisbury gloves are unavailable within the 90-day requirement, the Seller may supply un-used, re-tested Salisbury gloves at no cost to ORNL, provided current NAIL Accreditation and calibration certification (traceable to NIST) are supplied, along with a Certificate of Compliance confirming ASTM D120 compliance and a product recall method. The Seller is responsible for receiving all gloves from the manufacturer, verifying compliance with quality provisions, and shipping to ORNL no later than the scheduled delivery dates.
