About this file

This document is an attachment to a procurement file for the Oregon Military Department's Portland Air National Guard Base (PANG) related to base access requirements for contractors working on the PANG Guard Shack Entry Control Point (ECP) Project. The document outlines security protocols and access procedures that contractors and subcontractors must follow when working on the installation, requiring contractor identification badges and coordination with base security personnel at least 72 hours prior to needed access.

Contractors must provide specific personal information including full name, date of birth, last four digits of Social Security number, and driver's license details to Michelle Johnson at Civil Engineering (michelle.johnson.38@us.af.mil) for security clearance processing. Base access requirements include valid driver's license, government-issued ID containing SSN, and vehicle insurance/registration, with all personnel subject to security screening that may result in "clear" or "not clear" determinations. The facility is located at 6801 NE Cornfoot Road, Portland, Oregon, and contractors should expect 30-45 minute security delays and vehicle searches on each visit, with no weapons permitted on base regardless of permit status. Emergency requests must be directed to Cliff Bergstrom, and the document emphasizes that effective May 7, 2025, all personnel must present DHS REAL ID compliant identification to access the base.
