About this file
This is an instruction document for MOVEit TRANSFER, a secure file transfer application used by Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) vendors to submit bid proposals. The document outlines the procedural steps vendors must follow to access the system, locate their specific project folder, and upload required proposal documents. Vendors access the system using provided credentials (username: kytcbid, password: Submitter20) through https://ftp.ky.gov. The application supports unlimited file size uploads and requires vendors to select the appropriate RFP folder corresponding to their project before submitting documentation. Vendors are advised to use the Notes section to include contact information and file comments, and to print confirmation screens as verification of successful submission.
The document specifies that all files retained on MOVEit applications are deleted after 90 days unless otherwise requested. Technical support is available through the Commonwealth Service Desk at CommonwealthServiceDesk@ky.gov and cc: COTMOVEITFTP@ky.gov, or by telephone at 502-564-7576. Non-Commonwealth third parties requiring assistance should include their kyrfb identifier, telephone number, and detailed error descriptions in support requests. The instruction document was last revised on March 25, 2020, and serves as a standard submission protocol for all KYTC vendor bid submissions.
