About this file
This document is a Technical Specifications document for a Quantum Confocal Microscope system procured in a quantity of one unit.
The quantum confocal microscope is an NV emission-optimized system featuring a Mitutoyo 50X Plan Apo HR objective with NA 0.75 and 5.2mm working distance, with an optional custom objective upgrade guaranteeing T>86% transmission over 650-800nm. The system includes a closed-loop piezoelectric stage with 100μm vertical range and 0.7nm resolution, fiber-coupled SPAD module with 80% quantum efficiency at 670nm (guaranteed >60%), motorized XY-stage (75mm x 100mm) with <100nm step size, and scanning mirrors providing 150μm field of view with approximately 50nm resolution. The optics head is compatible with excitation wavelengths 450-638nm. System software supports standard confocal scans, alignment routines, Python scripting, and automated measurement routines over custom grids and flagged points. The specification includes a Vector Electromagnet module capable of >80mT field (typical >120mT) in arbitrary directions with low-noise electronics and closed-loop cooling. An NV Advanced Modes Support module provides qubit control via a 16-bit, 1.25 GS/s AWG with 2 analog and 3 digital channels, enabling fast ODMR scans up to 200 pixels/s, pulsed ODMR, Rabi, Ramsey, relaxation/T1, Spin-Echo, CPMG, and custom pulse sequences. A temperature-regulated enclosure with Peltier-based active regulation guarantees temperature fluctuations smaller than 0.1°C. The delivery package includes shipping with insurance, on-site installation and validation by trained technician, training for up to two users, one year of warranty covering up to 4 hours monthly of remote support, and a three-month lead time from order confirmation.
