About this file
This document is a specifications attachment for Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) Request for Proposal #3000024652 for trail repairs at the Tunica Hills Wildlife Management Area in West Feliciana Parish. The project requires a contractor to perform comprehensive trail and parking area rehabilitation, including removing debris from a 90-foot parking area ditch, installing approximately 90'x12' of 8 oz. non-woven geotech fabric in the parking area ditch, installing 500'x6' of geotech fabric in the tram trail ditch, placing 200 tons of 4"-8" gabion stone over the fabric, and adding 30 tons of #57 limestone to the tram trail. All work must be completed before June 30, 2025, and all prospective bidders are mandated to attend a pre-bid site visit, which can be arranged by contacting the Hammond Region Office at (985)543-4777.
No specific pricing, funding sources, or budget details are provided in this specifications document. The project appears to be a infrastructure maintenance initiative focused on improving trail conditions and drainage in a wildlife management area. The required site visit suggests a need for precise on-site assessment and potential customized approach to the rehabilitation work. Bidders will need to coordinate directly with LDWF to fully understand the project scope and specific site conditions prior to submitting a proposal.
