About this file

This is a Site Photographs attachment document prepared by the Oregon Military Department for the Camp Rilea Building 7029 Structural Foundation Stabilization project located at Camp Rilea Armed Forces Training Center in Warrenton, Oregon. The attachment provides six representative photographs documenting existing site conditions to assist contractors in understanding project scope and constraints. The photographs depict the equipment access route from the parking area to the hilltop building, the hilltop staging area adjacent to Building 7029, underside access beneath the structure showing the existing pier-and-post foundation and crawlspace clearance, the building elevation and surrounding terrain with slope conditions, existing foundation conditions showing settlement and displacement concerns, and the existing deck with grade differential transitions. The document emphasizes that these photographs are provided for informational purposes only and do not replace, supplement, or modify contract requirements, and that contractors are responsible for verifying all site conditions through their own investigation and evaluation.

The attachment establishes that the State does not represent or warrant that the site photographs depict all existing conditions and that contractors must rely on independent assessment of site conditions. The photographs specifically highlight working conditions for foundation stabilization activities, including equipment access constraints, available staging space on the paved surface, and the challenging terrain created by the slope conditions. The documentation indicates that post-foundation stabilization work will require construction of stairs, landings, or transitions to address the grade differential between the deck elevation and surrounding ground.
