Sealed bids are due by Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10:30 AM CST, with the last day for submitting questions on Thursday prior to the opening. The contract term extends through April 30, 2027, with MDOT retaining the right to extend for up to twelve additional months, not to exceed sixty months total.
The procurement is open to all qualified vendors with no specific set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular types of organizations or disadvantaged enterprises. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified. All parts must be new with no used, reconditioned, or obsolete parts accepted. The manufacturer must provide factory installation with a factory-trained representative to instruct operators and ensure proper functioning, along with complete technical manuals in both hard copy and electronic formats and ongoing technical service bulletins. The manufacturer must provide written assurance of warranty coverage and maintain warranty service locations within Mississippi, with the delivering dealer assuming sole warranty responsibility for the first ninety days after vehicle acceptance. The contract price remains fixed throughout the contract duration, and upon award, if MDOT issues a Notice to Proceed, the vehicle will be purchased through the State's Master Lease Purchase Program with U.S. Bank National Association listed as the first lienholder. The specific bid price or budget range is not disclosed in the specifications document.
