About this file
This is a Performance Standards and Guarantees document (Attachment C) for a lawn care services contract (DMS-24/25-247) that outlines the service requirements and compliance standards for landscape maintenance. The document details specific performance metrics for various lawn care services including mowing (weekly May-October, bi-weekly November-April), trimming and edging, debris removal, weed control/fertilizer application, herbicide applications, mulching, irrigation system maintenance, and miscellaneous services like tree maintenance and seasonal bed care.
The document establishes a three-tier rating system (Good, Fair, Poor) with specific financial penalties for non-compliance ranging from 10-35% deductions from the contractor's invoice depending on the service area. Mowing non-compliance results in the highest penalty at 35%, trimming/edging at 15%, and other services at 10% deductions. The contractor must submit monthly reports to the Facility Manager for verification, and both parties must sign and date the performance evaluation form. Performance rated as "Fair" must be improved by the following month to avoid being downgraded to "Poor" and incurring associated financial penalties.
