About this file

This is an Equipment Schedule attachment for the Camp Rilea Koski Lodging Fire Alarm System Replacement project issued by the Oregon Military Department. The project involves the complete replacement of fire alarm systems in two buildings (7299 and 7300) at Camp Rilea in Warrenton, Oregon. The existing systems are conventional, non-addressable systems installed circa 1999 that are considered obsolete and beyond typical service life. The new system must be fully addressable, code-compliant, and include integrated carbon monoxide detection to meet current code requirements for transient lodging occupancies. The existing equipment inventory across both buildings includes approximately 2 fire alarm control panels, 4 batteries, 24 smoke detectors, 10 manual pull stations, 5 heat detectors, and 10 horn/strobes. The document emphasizes that all quantities are approximate and provided for informational purposes only, with contractors required to independently verify all existing conditions, device locations, wiring, and system configurations prior to bidding.

The contractor bears full responsibility for field verification of all equipment and system components before design and installation. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of all existing fire alarm system components, whether specifically identified in the Equipment Schedule or not. The document explicitly states that no adjustment in contract price will be made due to discrepancies between the equipment schedule and actual field conditions discovered during the work. All work required to provide a complete, code-compliant, and fully functional system must be included in the base bid, regardless of whether such work is identified in the attachment. The equipment schedule is not to be used for reliance in bidding purposes, as it represents only available inspection reports and limited observations that may not represent all existing components or system configurations.

ATTACHMENT C – Existing Fire Alarm System Equipment Schedule

(For Informational Purposes Only – Contractor to Verify All Conditions)

1. Purpose

This Equipment Schedule is provided for informational purposes only to assist Bidders in understanding general existing fire alarm system conditions.

The information is based on available inspection reports and limited observations and may not represent all existing components, conditions, or system configurations.

The Contractor shall independently verify all existing conditions, quantities, device locations, wiring, and system configuration.

The Contractor shall not rely on this Equipment Schedule for bidding purposes. All Work required to provide a complete, code-compliant, and fully functional system shall be included in the Base Bid, regardless of whether such Work is identified in this Attachment.

2. General Notes

Device locations are approximate and not intended for installation reference.

Existing system wiring and pathways are not fully documented.

The Contractor shall perform a complete ield veri ication prior to design and installation.

3. Existing System Overview

The existing fire alarm systems in Buildings 7299 and 7300 are conventional, non-addressable systems installed circa 1999.

The systems are considered obsolete and at or beyond typical service life. The systems do not provide carbon monoxide (CO) detection and have documented deficiencies in initiating devices.

The existing systems do not meet current code requirements for transient lodging occupancies.

This project requires complete system replacement with a fully addressable, code-compliant fire alarm system with integrated carbon monoxide (CO) detection.
