About this file
This is a Commission Rate Form for the Operation and Management of the College Campus Shop at Piedmont Technical College in South Carolina. The document establishes the financial terms and conditions that a contractor must meet to operate the campus bookstore facility. The form requires contractors to specify their proposed commission structure, renovation investments, and capital contributions to support campus operations and student needs.
The pricing structure requires contractors to guarantee annual payments to the college based on either a fixed dollar amount or a percentage of gross sales, whichever is greater. Contractors must propose tiered commission percentages for sales amounts above and below specified thresholds, with gross sales defined to exclude voids, refunds, sales tax, discounted sales, and uncollected amounts. Additionally, contractors must commit to an initial capital investment for store design, construction, equipment, and fixtures, followed by annual reserve contributions for refurbishments and future improvements. Contractors are also required to provide annual capital contributions beyond the sales commissions to support student needs as determined by the college, with the initial contribution due upon contract award and subsequent payments due each July 1st.
