Document Summary

This is a Statewide Natural Areas Management Work Order issued by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The document serves as a task order form used to assign specific projects to qualified vendors who have been awarded contracts under the Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract. The work order specifies project details, including work item classification, work zone designation, site location, funding fiscal year, and project timeline, along with relevant contact information for the primary job coordinator and site superintendent or landowner.

The work order outlines the scope of services, which must comply with specifications detailed in Section 1 of the vendor's signed Statewide Natural Areas Management Contract. Work items may include hand work on sensitive sites, requiring detailed specifications such as herbicide type and application rate, application method, mortality rate requirements, resulting stump height, treatment timing, target vegetation species, and species to be protected. Vendors must respond within seven days of receipt by accepting or declining the work order via signature. Pricing is established on a per-hour basis specific to the work item and work zone, with total project cost calculated by multiplying the vendor's hourly rate by the number of authorized hours. If a vendor declines, IDNR offers the work to the vendor with the next lowest bid; should all contract vendors decline, IDNR reserves the right to rebid the work to other vendors. All onsite vendor staff must meet experience requirements specified in the underlying contract.
