• The job should be completed in 1 day. We anticipate Pickup at sterling location from 8am – 2pm, Drop off at Broadway location 230pm-7pm
• There is a probability that some of the equipment that we are moving from Sterling will need to go to the dump, and not be dropped at Broadway. Please including packing plans, possibly an additional truck, and dump fees in your plan.
• The 325 Broadway building where you will move equipment to is called building 3 and is located here an campus
• Both locations are Federal facilities.
o They require visitor registration managed by John Beltz, john.beltz@nist.gov o They require a federal escort during all work in the buildings. John Beltz or delegate will escort.
o The 325 Broadway location requires check in and inspection of personnel and vehicle at the campus visitor center
• At the Sterling pickup location you will park right at the garage door entrance. The equipment to move is all located in 1 room, on the first floor, directly accessible varying from 30 – 200 ft from the garage entrance. All equipment to move is easily accessible with dollies, carts etc., and the floor permits easy rolling.
mailto:john.beltz@nist.gov
• The Broadway location: You will park at the rear of the building with access to a raised loading dock. If your truck connects easily to the raised deck that is optimal.
If not, we have a dock that raises and lowers but you would be raising and lowering with every load. From the loading dock, there will be a double-wide door propped open for the duration of the move to enter the building. From that door you will move approximately 300ft through smooth surfaces/
• ****Note: Some of the flooring is carpet, and we can not make a mess in any of the flooring. We are requiring Floor and carpet protection be included through this area.
