About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details integral fuel tank repair services for the HC-144 aircraft operated by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). The SOW requires a contractor to perform sealant removal, inspection, and resealing of fuel tanks in the center and outer wing areas, specifically targeting engine mount fittings, wing ribs, and rear spar regions. Key requirements include removing existing sealant, preparing surfaces, applying new sealant according to specified standards, and conducting final leak checks.

The contractor must provide all necessary labor, tools, and equipment, including PRC Seal Caps and specific sealant types. Quality assurance is critical, with the contractor required to be ISO 9000 compliant and perform detailed quality checks at multiple stages. The work must adhere to various technical manuals and standards, including CGTO and NAVAIR references. The contract specifies a 30-day turnaround time, and the contractor must provide a 90-day warranty on completed work. The Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) will provide the hangar space, fuel bowser, and other basic infrastructure for the repair process.
