About this file
This is a Task and Frequency Chart attachment that specifies the grounds maintenance requirements for the Calais Border Patrol Station in Baring, Maine. The chart establishes performance frequencies for ten distinct maintenance tasks including grounds cleaning (7 months annually), grass mowing (6 months), mowing of non-landscaped areas (6 months), grass edging (6 months), shrubbery trimming (6 months), weed control, fertilizing, leaf removal (2 months), parking lot and driveway sweeping, and identify total estimated labor hours. The document defines frequency abbreviations ranging from as-needed to annual performance, with a specific note that tasks performed more frequently than twice daily must be separated by six to twelve hours.
The document requires contractors to identify total estimated labor hours necessary to complete proposed frequencies and permits modification of required tasks as applicable. For tasks performed less frequently than monthly, contractors must complete each task within the first month of contract performance and then maintain a regular schedule thereafter. The Contract Officer Representative is Eugene Hardy, located at 67 Park Road, Baring, ME 04694, and can be reached at 207-706-6028. This attachment supports the broader Grounds Maintenance/Snow Removal Services solicitation (70B03C26Q00000046) for the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection with a period of performance from April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2026 plus four option years.
