About this file
This is a Laboratory Report for lead paint analysis conducted by an accredited laboratory for Lepi Enterprises, Inc. on behalf of the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) in Ohio. The report documents the testing of paint samples from the RTA's maintenance facility using flame atomic absorption spectrophotometry in accordance with USEPA SW846 7000B methodology. Two samples were analyzed, with lab IDs 3949615 and 3949616, received at the laboratory on December 12, 2025, analyzed on December 15, 2025, and reported on December 17, 2025. The samples tested at concentrations of 220 PPM (0.02202% by weight) and 232 PPM (0.02319% by weight) respectively.
The results indicate that both samples exceed the Consumer Products Safety Standard threshold of 0.009% lead by weight and fall below the Federal Lead Standard/HUD regulatory limit of 0.5% lead by weight. The analysis was performed by AIHA LAP accredited laboratory 290960 located in Fort Mill, South Carolina, with a minimum reporting limit of 13.7 micrograms of total lead. This lead paint testing documentation supports the scope of work for the RTA's Maintenance Facility Painting Project by establishing baseline conditions and identifying lead-based paint presence that must be addressed during preparation and painting operations.
