About this file

This is a Statement of Availability attachment for an IDEA Mediator Request for Proposal (RFP 540 2700000106) issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The document establishes evaluation criteria for offerors responding to the procurement, requiring vendors to specify their availability in hours per week rather than vague terms such as "as needed." The evaluation methodology allocates points based on availability, with the offeror offering the highest number of weekly hours receiving the maximum points, while subsequent offerors receive proportionally scaled points calculated by dividing their offered hours by the highest bid and multiplying by the total available points. The RFP also requires offerors to disclose any availability restrictions during the contract period or indicate if none exist.

The Statement of Availability further requires offerors to confirm their willingness to travel throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky as part of contract performance and to agree to potential overnight travel requirements. Both travel provisions must be explicitly acknowledged by vendors through yes or no confirmations, as fulfilling these obligations is a condition of contract award and performance under the IDEA Mediator procurement.

Attachment A - Statement of Availability IDEA Mediator

RFP 540 2700000106

Vendor Name

Availability Offeror shall indicate and estimated number of hours available per week. Offeror shall not respond with As Needed, As Many As Needed or any similar statement. For evaluation purposes offerors response must be a number.

Hours per week

Offeror with most available hours/week will receive maximum points. Offeror with the next most available hours/week receives points by dividing hours by the most available hours and multiplying that percentage by the available points. For example, if 100 points is allocated to the most availability criteria for this procurement, Offeror "A" bids 30 hours/week as the highest Offeror and receives the maximum 100 points (30/30 = 1 x 100 = 100). Assume Offeror "B" is the next highest Offeror at 27 hours/week, then "B" receives 90 points (27/30 = .90 x 100 = 90).

Offeror should indicate if there are any availability restrictions during the contract period, if none, offeror shall response Not Applicable.
