About this file
This is a Scope of Work document (P24-0882) from the Center for Analytical Chemistry (CAC) for automated SPE (Solid Phase Extraction) systems for processing water samples by the Environmental Analysis section. The contractor must deliver the automated SPE systems between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, include proper documentation on packing slips, and provide training for system operation. The technical requirements specify systems that weigh no more than 25 kg with 60cm³ dimensions, capable of running 8 samples simultaneously with parallel extraction steps, using positive pressure and continuous flow pumps. The systems must include a built-in touchscreen, perform automatic bottle rinsing, be compatible with multiple SPE cartridge sizes (1-20mL), 30mm Mini-disks, and 47mm SPE disks, feature adjustable bottle adapters, and collect 2-6 fractions per channel.
The document outlines CDFA's responsibilities including receiving and installing the instruments and providing appropriate laboratory space with proper benchtop and electrical requirements. No specific pricing terms, set-asides, or funding information is included in this scope of work. The contract manager is identified as Michael S.
