About this file

The document is a budget template related to a state and local contract opportunity from the South Dakota Department of Health to provide personnel support for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) within the Office of Child and Family Services. The contract requires the selected entity to carry out federal and state requirements by providing indirect and direct services to or for WIC participants. The number, type, and location of the positions will be determined by the Department of Health based on needs within the WIC program. Several positions have been identified as needs, including receptionists, senior secretaries, vendor liaisons, and WIC public health assistants.

The budget template provides details on the estimated costs for personnel, including salary ranges for the various positions, standard benefits, travel costs, mobile connectivity, supplies and materials, and capital assets. The travel costs are broken down into in-state and out-of-state travel. The template also includes information on the calculation of salary and benefits, as well as the travel reimbursement guidelines.
