Attachment A - HASS Avigilon Site Health and Camera Details.xlsx

This is a health and surveillance system technical documentation file for the Hastings Area School System (HASS) in Michigan, detailing the current Avigilon video surveillance infrastructure across middle and high school facilities. The system currently utilizes 275 of 343 available camera channels across two servers (HASS-VIDEO1 and HASS-VIDEO2), with HASS-VIDEO1 operating at 118 channels and HASS-VIDEO2 at 157 channels. The document provides comprehensive device inventory information including camera locations, IP addresses, firmware versions, resolution specifications, bitrate data, and operational status for approximately 118 individual cameras distributed across multiple school buildings, including Hastings Middle School, Hastings High School, and the Hastings CERC facility. The documentation identifies several cameras marked for replacement or removal, including multi-head Avigilon cameras at various exterior and interior locations (parking lots, gyms, cafeteria exits, athletic facilities, and classrooms), as well as older Axis model cameras designated for decommissioning.

The technical health assessment indicates that both servers are operational with HASS-VIDEO2 actively connected to cloud services as of October 21, 2026, while HASS-VIDEO1 maintains a standby status with last connection on October 6, 2026. Network performance shows stable connectivity with HASS-VIDEO1 maintaining 263.5 Mbps incoming traffic and HASS-VIDEO2 at 309.2 Mbps, both operating on 20 Gbps network adapters. The system includes notes indicating that several multi-head cameras are recommended for replacement, gym coverage is open to recommended adjustments, and specific recommendations are provided for camera consolidation (such as replacing individual units with multi-head cameras). Several cameras are flagged as requiring removal or replacement due to age, redundancy, or functional issues, suggesting this documentation supports a modernization initiative for the district's video surveillance infrastructure.
