About this file
This document is an Attachment A.xlsx file related to a Natural Gas Broker contract opportunity for the state of South Carolina, specifically involving the jurisdictions of Charleston County and Charleston City. The file contains pricing calculations for the estimated natural gas quantities required over a two-year contract term, with estimated monthly usage and unit prices. The contract covers the period from June to the following May, with total annual estimated quantities of 516,663 decatherms (dt). The pricing structure includes the NYMEX futures price, a fixed Marketer's Basis, and Marketer's Transport Charges to determine the Estimated Unit Price and Estimated Extended Price for each month.
The pricing terms indicate that the actual NYMEX futures pricing at the start of the contract term will be used for determining the actual starting prices, and that elements of the Marketer's Basis component, such as tariffs, are not within the control of the offeror. Offerors are required to only enter their Marketer's Basis/dt for each month, and the other pricing calculations will update automatically.

Sheet1 ATTACHMENT A - Price Calculations
| NOTE: When completing the calculations below, the offeror needs to be aware of the following: | |
| 1. "Estimated Quantity" is our best estimate based on previous usage. There is no expectation that the actual usage during the performance phase of the resulting contract will match the estimates exactly. | |
| 2. The $1.60 "Estimated NYMEX" listed on the worksheet is intended to be used for evaluation purposes only. The actual NYMEX futures pricing at the start of the contract term will be used for determining the actual starting prices. | |
| 4. "Marketer's Basis" is a fixed component of price. However there are elements of this component which are not within the span of control of the offeror (Example: Tarrifs). The pricing terms expressly state what and how price changes of this portion of price will be considered. | |
| 5. "Estimated Unit Price" is the sum total of the "Estimated NYMEX" + "Marketer's Margin" + Marketer's Transport Charges". | |
| 6. "Estimated Extended Price" is the product of "Estimated Quantity" x "Estimated Unit Price" expressed to the nearest dollar. |
