About this file

This is a certification document from the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) establishing conflict-of-interest requirements for contractors and consultants on a Sidewalk & Catch Basin Repair project in Lancaster, South Carolina. The certification requires that authorized representatives of contractors and consultants confirm compliance with Section 57-1-350(G) of the South Carolina Code of Laws, which prohibits SCDOT Commission members from holding direct or indirect interests in any proposals, bids, contracts, franchises, or benefits related to the project during their term of appointment and for one year after termination. The contractor must ensure that all consultants, sub-consultants, contractors, vendors, suppliers, employees, and agents comply with these conflict-of-interest provisions as an ongoing obligation throughout the contract period.

The certification serves as a mandatory precondition to contract execution and reflects SCDOT's governance requirements under Act 40 of 2017. No additional pricing terms, funding sources, or project-specific details are provided in this certification document. Contractors must execute the certification by providing an authorized representative's signature, printed name, date, and title before the contract can be finalized.
