About this file
This file is a template for an advisory banner and terms of use agreement for VA medical center guest internet/WiFi services. The document outlines the terms, conditions, and acceptable use policies that patients and visitors must agree to before accessing a VA medical center's public internet network. Key requirements include restricting access to patients and visitors only, acknowledging that the service is provided "as is" with no guarantee, and agreeing that all network activity may be monitored with no expectation of privacy.
The acceptable use policy prohibits unauthorized access, commercial activities, illegal activities, peer-to-peer file sharing, gambling, and any activities that disrupt VA operations. Users must comply with all laws, protect their own devices with security measures, and acknowledge that the VA assumes no responsibility for device security or data protection. The document is designed to be customized with specific medical center names, network names, and help desk contact information. This appears to be one of several attachments related to a solicitation for Guest WiFi Services at the St. Louis VA Medical Center.
