About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document addressing three key inquiries related to a federal contract solicitation.
The first question clarifies that ISO 14001 certification is a mandatory technical acceptability requirement and must be submitted with the quote rather than obtained after contract award. The second and third questions both address deadline extensions, with the contracting officer confirming that the quotes due-in date has been extended to 15 July 2026 at 3:00 PM. The third question specifically contextualizes a request for extension due to delays in SAM.gov registration renewal and synchronization processing, which the contracting officer accommodated with the same extended deadline. This document does not address specific products or services, pricing terms, or award information, but rather serves as administrative clarification on submission requirements and procedural modifications to the solicitation timeline.

ATTACHMENT#9 – QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
Question#1: When submitting the quote, you must have ISO 14001 certification or it be enough to obtain ISO 14001 certification before starting work?
Answer#1: Since it is required to have the ISO 14001 certification in order to be considered technically acceptable, this certification must be submitted along with the Quote.
Question#2: Can you please extend the bid deadline?
Answer#2: Yes. The quotes due-in date will be extended to 15 July 2026, at 3.00 pm.
Question#3: To provide some context, during the renewal of our SAM.gov registration, we updated our entity information, and the registration is currently being processed. I opened a support ticket to obtain confirmation of the status and was informed that the synchronization and update process may take approximately 10–15 days.
I wanted to keep you informed of the situation. Based on the information provided, we expect the registration to be fully active again within the required timeframe.
However, should there be any unforeseen delays, I would like to ask whether it would be possible to obtain an extension of the deadline.
Answer#3: Yes. The quotes due-in date will be extended to 15 July 2026, at 3.00 pm.
