About this file

This document outlines the technical specifications for mixer/grinder systems required by the Defense Commissary Agency. The equipment must not exceed certain dimensions and must have a minimum hopper capacity of 200 pounds and output of 35 pounds per minute. Key components like the mixing arm, conveyor screw, and drive shafts must be removable for cleaning. The grinders must meet UL and NSF certification standards, carry a 12-month warranty, and support parts availability for 15 years. Installation, training, and maintenance support are required from contractors. The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation from the Defense Commissary Agency seeking preventive maintenance and repairs for various food processing equipment, including these mixer/grinder systems, for Commissary Group 59. Continued parts support and safety features are emphasized.
