About this file
This quarterly status report provides metrics on the Recovery Care Coordinator Program supporting wounded Marines and Sailors. For the period covered, the program had over XXX Marines and Sailors assigned Recovery Care Coordinators across multiple locations. Several RCCs were tracking over XXX cases each and establishing numerous Comprehensive Recovery Plans. The majority of those served remained on active duty, with some transitioning to reserve status or out of the military. A small number unfortunately became deceased. The program appears aimed at providing long-term coordination of non-medical support services to wounded personnel as they recover and move towards full duty or separation.
The related federal contract opportunity solicitation seeks proposals for WWR Recovery Care Coordinator Program Support. It appears to be for continued performance of coordination and analysis services to aid the Wounded Warrior Regiment's mission of assisting injured Marines, likely the program outlined in the status report. The opportunity notice provides little detail but references attachments with the full solicitation.
