About this file

This notice provides information about an upcoming federal contract opportunity for Electronic Health Records Modernization infrastructure upgrades at the San Francisco VA Medical Center.

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit proposals and award a single firm-fixed-price design-build contract to provide all labor, materials, and services necessary to relocate or remodel approximately 50 telecommunications rooms and one data center. The project scope involves bringing the spaces up to VA Office of Information and Technology and EHRM infrastructure standards while maintaining IT service continuity. The design-build contractor will deliver a turnkey project in accordance with applicable standards.

The solicitation will be conducted as a two-phase design-build selection and issued in July 2021 as a total SDVOSB set-aside. The contract value is estimated between $10-20 million. The period of performance is approximately 540 calendar days from notice to proceed. Questions must be submitted in writing by the specified date.
