About this file
This document is a requirements specification for a vehicle wash bay equipment system detailing the procurement of booms, mounting hardware, accessories, and related infrastructure.
The buyer requires two ceiling booms with 8-foot reach and 12-15 foot hose lengths, plus one wall-mounted boom per bay for brush applications in a single-boom configuration per location. Mounting will be truss-mounted for ceiling installations and wall-mounted for exterior applications. The wash bay accessories needed include three wand holders, three foam brush holders, and three brush buckets, with foam brush stations required in each bay. For the exterior sprayer/oversized vehicle area, a wall-mounted 100-foot hose reel is required. System specifications include 15-foot bay hoses with 1/2-inch inlet/outlet connections operating at 140 PSI from the air compressor. The facility has bay dimensions of 15 feet by 20 feet depth with 15-18 feet inner height, single-phase electrical service, and water supply sourced directly from base plumbing in the main pump room. The customer confirmed an 8-position meter box configuration is suitable for their needs. Installation will accommodate two bays, each with identical boom and accessory configurations.

• I noticed the equipment list calls out both 8-position meter boxes and 12-position menu signs—can you confirm which direction you’re planning to go and which functions you require? Most setups are typically aligned at 8 positions, so just wanted to check. –8 is suitable
• Can you confirm what electrical service is available (phase/capacity) and any details on the water supply? Electrical is single phase. Water supply is direct from base plumbing in the main pump room where the main component is set
6. Site documents
• Bay dimensions—Bay dimensions are 15’ X 20’ depth with 15-18’ inner height
