About this file

This document is an Attachment 6 listing sustainable products for a janitorial services contract for the Ottawa National Forest. The list includes three categories of sustainable products: Bio-Based Products, Energy Efficient Products, and EPA-Designated Items, with specific focus on cleaning products such as bathroom cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, disinfectants, and floor cleaner. The document outlines Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements for program officials to consider biobased and energy-efficient products when developing contract requirements, emphasizing the need to conduct market research to determine availability and cost of these sustainable alternatives. The contract opportunity is for janitorial services at a construction and maintenance shop, approximately 400 square feet, under the Department of Agriculture Forest Service.
