About this file

This document outlines priority groups for veteran enrollment in VA health care benefits. It defines eight priority groups based on factors such as service-connected disability ratings, special eligibility needs, and income thresholds. Priority groups 1 through 4 are assigned the highest priorities based on disability from military service or other special circumstances. Priority groups 5 through 8 are based on income levels and willingness to pay copays, with group 8 having the highest income threshold eligible for enrollment. The document provides details on each priority group and subpriorities for noncompensable or non-service-connected veterans already enrolled in the VA health care system.

This federal contract opportunity is a presolicitation notice for operating Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Dover, TN and Hopkinsville, KY. The Tennessee Valley Healthcare System is seeking proposals for providing primary care services to veterans residing in those areas through private medical offices or clinics. The solicitation will use indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts awarded to offerors who can successfully propose operating a CBOC at the desired locations. Awards will be made to proposals deemed most advantageous to the government based on evaluation criteria in the full solicitation. The anticipated release date for the solicitation is June 11, 2020 and it will be posted on SAM.gov.
