About this file
This document is an Addendum to FAR 52.212-2 for Evaluation of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, dated November 2021. The document outlines the government's evaluation criteria for contract award, which includes two primary factors: price and technical capability. Offerors must submit sufficient information demonstrating that their specifications meet the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work.
The evaluation methodology indicates that technical capability and past performance, when combined, are approximately equal in importance to cost. The contract price will be evaluated based on the total price of the base year plus all four option years. A written notice of award will result in a binding contract, and the government may accept an offer (or part of an offer) before the specified expiration time, unless a written withdrawal notice is received.
