Addendum FAR 52.212-2
Evaluation – Commercial Items
Basis for Award The U.S. Government intends to establish a single Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the supply of bottled water to U.S. Military Forces exercises in the country of Senegal. A single BPA will be awarded for all delivery locations.
The award will be made to the responsible offeror with a quote that has the lowest total evaluated price and conforms to the requirements in the Request for Quotations (RFQ). The successful awardee shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), Total Evaluated Price
This acquisition will rely on the processes and procedures described under FAR 15.404-1(b) as the primary means of assessing quote reasonableness. Quoter’s prices will be evaluated for award purposes based upon the lowest total evaluated price. The lowest total evaluated price shall be the sum of the proposed unit prices multiplied by the estimated minimum order demand.
Note: If all quotes received are in the same currency (i.e. Euros), the evaluation currency will be Euros. If quotes are received in different currencies, the evaluation currency will be US Dollars. Each offeror’s quoted unit prices that are not already in US Dollars will be converted to US Dollars for evaluation purposes, only. Using the Oanda website, https://www.oanda.com/currency/converter/, utilizing the average daily exchange rate on the date evaluations occur. Technical and Past Performance will not be evaluated.
