About this file

This document is a Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP) template for applicants to the Media Small Grants Program, a federal grant opportunity from the U.S. Department of State.

The PMP outlines how applicants should plan to monitor and evaluate the performance and outcomes of their proposed projects. It requires applicants to describe their monitoring and evaluation methods, identify key personnel, and provide indicators to track progress towards the grant's goals and objectives. Applicants must include at least one indicator from the provided list, as well as any additional indicators needed to demonstrate project success. The PMP template includes quarterly targets for the selected indicators.

The related federal grant opportunity, Media Small Grants Program, is funded through the AEECA/ESF PD Programs CFDA 19.900. It aims to increase journalistic professionalism, expand independent media capabilities, and promote access to information in the Kyrgyz Republic. Proposed projects should be innovative, complement ongoing efforts, and target media entities, professionals, students, and social media influencers.
