About this file
This document is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Statement of Compliance for Limitation on Telecommunications Equipment Procurement, version 3 from February 2022. The statement certifies compliance with Section 208 of the Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2020, which is part of the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (P.L. 116-94). The compliance specifically prohibits the acquisition of certain telecommunications equipment and high-impact or moderate-impact information systems, as defined by the National Institute of Standards and Technology's (NIST) Federal Information Processing Standard Publication I99 for security categorization of federal information and information systems.
The document provides a template for an OEM to officially declare their adherence to these procurement restrictions, with designated spaces for a certifying officer to print their name, title, and provide a signature along with the date of certification. The form is designed to be a formal attestation of the manufacturer's commitment to following the specified telecommunications equipment procurement limitations.
