Summary

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division. The document applies to California County of San Diego and is effective as of December 3, 2025 (Wage Determination No. 2015-5635, Revision No. 29). It establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits for service contract employees working on federal contracts in this geographic area.

The wage determination lists over 200 occupation codes and titles across multiple occupational categories, including administrative support and clerical occupations, automotive service occupations, food preparation and service occupations, furniture maintenance and repair occupations, general services and support occupations, health occupations, information and arts occupations, information technology occupations, instructional occupations, laundry and dry-cleaning occupations, machine tool operation and repair occupations, materials handling and packing occupations, mechanics and maintenance occupations, personal needs occupations, plant and system operations occupations, protective service occupations, recreation occupations, stevedoring and longshoremen occupations, technical occupations, and transportation and mobile equipment operation occupations. Hourly wage rates range from approximately $15.95 to $75.09, depending on occupation level and specialty. All occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week) for health and welfare, plus two weeks of paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after fifteen years. Employees receive a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. The determination includes special provisions for computer employees, air traffic controllers, weather observers, hazardous duty pay differentials (4 percent and 8 percent), and uniform allowances, with detailed guidance on conformance procedures for unlisted occupations via Standard Form 1444.
