About this file
This document includes a past performance questionnaire and details of a related federal contract opportunity. The past performance questionnaire is for a contractor to provide feedback on their past work with another organization as part of a solicitation for the Riley Pass Uranium Mines CERCLA Project in Harding County, South Dakota. The federal government customer is seeking feedback on quality, schedule, responsiveness to issues, meeting customer needs, overall satisfaction, and whether the customer would award another contract to the contractor. Contractors may be advised of and given a chance to respond to any adverse remarks.
The related federal contract opportunity is for removal and remediation work at the Riley Pass Uranium Mines Superfund site. The solicitation involves excavating 20,000 cubic yards of contaminated mine waste, moving it to a consolidation area, regrading excavated areas, and placing 15,000 cubic yards of soil cover. Additional requirements include erosion and dust control, soil amendments, revegetation, and all personnel having 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. The work is being conducted under the CERCLA authority of the USDA Forest Service Northern Region.
