About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the Multifamily Lease and Repair (MLR) program in response to Hurricane Helene (DR-4827-NC) in North Carolina.

FEMA is seeking owners of multifamily rental properties (apartment complexes with two or more units) in the designated counties that could be repaired to local, state, and federal codes/standards and offered as temporary housing for FEMA applicants for up to 18 months. The properties must be located within 30 to 60 minutes commuting distance of the affected areas. FEMA is requesting information on property details including number of units, accessibility features, required repairs, rental rates, and availability. Responses are due by November 6, 2024. This RFI is for market research purposes only and is not a solicitation. If a competitive solicitation is issued, it will be posted on SAM.gov.
