STATEMENT OF WORK

DFAC FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT, 36 FSS, AAFB, GUAM

1.0 Background

This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the equipment requested and installation requirements for the water softener system at Magellan Dining Facility.

2.0 SCOPE:

The Contractor is to install the water softener system identified in 4.0 – Salient Characteristics, and installing it in accordance with the location identified where current equipment is located.

The contractor is making it fully operational according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Applying all building codes and specifications for Magellan Dining Facility, Mech Room, Building #25010, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.

3.0 INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE:

The 36th Force Support Squadron, Magellan Inn Dining Facility personnel will accomplish inspection and acceptance of equipment and installation. In the absence of other agreements negotiated with respect to time provided for government review, deliverables will be inspected, and the contractor notified of the representative's findings within 10 workdays of the submission of the deliverable by the contractor.

Water Softener System Description The equipment requiring install is a non-electrical water softener system.

• Flow Rate 30 psid: 184 gpm

• Pressure Range: 35 – 125 psig

• Temperature Range: 35 – 120 F

• Salt Dose.: 5 lbs/ft3-7.5 lbs/ft3

• System Capacity: 328 Kgr-394 Kgr

• Salt Used (per tank)40 pounds-60 pounds

• One-Year limited parts and labor warranty
